Role Summary

As the Tribe Lead Claims, you are the strategic architect at the intersection of claims expertise and technological execution. This is a high-impact, cross-border role where you lead the digital claims platform for a diverse range of environments—spanning Retail, SME, Midcorp, and Corporate segments. In this large-scale stakeholder environment, you will act as the vital bridge between complex business needs and IT delivery, ensuring our claims services are faster, smarter, and more customer-centric than ever before.

Your Responsibilities

  • Business-to-IT Translation: Translate complex claims requirements into scalable, high-performing IT solutions, ensuring the platform meets the unique needs of different business segments.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and business owners across Retail, SME, Midcorp, and Corporate domains.
  • Roadmap Execution: Define and execute a long-term digital vision for the Claims tribe, ensuring alignment with Allianz’s global and regional strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary tribe, fostering an inclusive environment where innovation and technical excellence thrive.
  • Agile Governance: Mature the Agile/SAFe way of working within the tribe to increase speed-to-market and delivery resilience.

Your Profile 

  • Insurance & Claims Expertise: You have a strong background in the insurance sector; in-depth knowledge of Claims management is a significant advantage.
  • Business & IT Alignment: You excel at bridging the gap between functional business demands and technical IT implementation.
  • Leadership Experience: You have a proven track record of leading large tribes or departments within large-scale, complex stakeholder environments.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Dutch is a strong plus, enabling you to lead effectively in our cross-border context.
  • Strategic Mindset: You understand how digital platforms drive operational excellence and have extensive experience navigating an Agile/SAFe framework.
